The 10 Best Disney Animated Movies Of All-Time

The most difficult thing about making a list of the top 10 cartoon movies is that you will always miss one. The number of great cartoons produced by Disney alone could easily outnumber my lifetime, let alone all the other studios in existence today.

However, I have tried to make this selection as definitive as possible.

Here are the top 10 cartoon movies of Disney (in my humble opinion):

Disney has created many cartoons in the past. Some of them are so popular that even today they remain alive in our hearts. If you are an ardent fan of Disney’s animation based movies, then this article is just for you. We have compiled a list of top 10 famous cartoon movies of all time by Disney which never failed to grab our attention and interest in it!

1.  Cinderella

Sleeping Beauty makes it to number two on this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney with Cinderella coming in at the first place.  This movie is such a classic and such a beautiful story.  It’s about this girl who has nothing and gets bullied by her stepsisters when she finds that her mom got married again and when she meets prince charming they fall in love but when you think that they’re gonna live happily ever after, they don’t because one day he leaves and goes back to where he lives which was like 200 miles away from where Cinderella lived and then shortly after his dad dies, so does Cinderella’s dad and then everybody goes their separate ways until one day they bump into each other and they’re like “oh, look at you” and then the prince was already married.

Lady and The Tramp have to make it on this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney because who wouldn’t love a story about two dogs falling in love with each other?  I mean it’s such a great movie!  It’s about this dog called Lady who lives her life as a happy dog until one day she has puppies but after that her owner doesn’t want her anymore that’s where Lady starts to not be a very nice doggie because she’s a stray and a street dog.  Then there’s this other dog-you know what I’m not gonna tell you the story because if you haven’t watched it yet then watch it.

4.  101 Dalmatians

Now, who wouldn’t love a cute movie about puppies?  I know I would!  This movie is so adorable that I want to go find 101 dalmatians right now!  It’s about these two girls who are really into fashion, they’re kinda like spoiled too but all they want is for their dad to buy them stuff but he says no because they just bought something yesterday.  One day one of the girls finds this puppy in the park and she names her Polly and then her dad goes out to work and the girl takes the puppy home but then they find out that all of these other puppies were stolen and now they’ve got to find them before Cruella De Vil does.  It’s such a great movie!

5.  The Lion King

I bet you thought I was gonna say Frozen, didn’t you? Well, The Lion King makes it to number six on this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney with Frozen coming in at number five.  This movie is about a young lion cub who lives in the jungle with his mother until one day she gets killed by Scar which makes Simba think he’s responsible for it so he runs away from everything and everyone because he doesn’t want to be king.  I won’t tell you how it ends because if you haven’t seen it then you need to watch it!

6.  Frozen

Frozen makes it on this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney with The Lion King coming in at number six.  This movie is about two sisters Elsa and Anna who are really close but one day Elsa gets scared that she might hurt her sister as she did with her mom so she runs away from everything and everyone leaving poor little Anna by herself for years until one day she meets a prince called Hans but no-one knows he’s the villain of the movie which comes out later on though! I won’t tell you how it ends because if you haven’t seen it then you really need to watch it!

7.  Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs make it on this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney at number seven. This movie is a classic because it’s about a girl living with 7 little men in the woods who are called dwarfs- I know, I couldn’t believe that myself either when I found out!  She lives in their house like nothing bad ever happened to her in the past but one day the queen finds Snow White which leads up to lots of evilness and heartbreak in Disney history.  This movie is so good though especially when they kiss because when you think she didn’t kiss him back he kisses her again and she does!

8.  The Aristocats

Another classic on this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney is The Aristocats at number eight. Like I’ve said before, who doesn’t love a movie about cute animals? Especially cats!  This movie is all about some animals that are kinda like the original Von Trapp family singers because they don’t have a lot to do so they go on an adventure where by chance they meet these two crazy new friends which lead up to lots of stuff happening such as Grammy dying and then coming back to life and then there’s a fire and all sorts but it ends happily ever after with them living in Paris France-I wish my life was like that!

9.  The Jungle Book

At number nine, The Jungle Book makes it on this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney. This movie is all about a little boy who gets raised by animals in the jungle but one day when he’s old enough to go back to his dad he does which leads up to lots of stuff happening such as him meeting Baloo and many other characters from the jungle that are great! I won’t tell you how it ends because if you haven’t seen it then you really need to watch it!

10.  Zootopia

Zootopia tops off this list of top ten cartoon movies of Disney at number ten. Zootopia is about a young bunny rabbit who just wants to be a police officer one day even though her parents don’t think she can because rabbits are meant to be carrot farmers-nonsense!  She lives in this city where all animals live together which is great for me being an animal lover but it’s not so great when everyone starts turning up dead, I mean you could never guess who would do something like that.
